Systemic Spirituality
Systemic spirituality is perennial and the integration of spiritual perspectives and practices within the whole person without any division. We are all spiritual as long as we breathe in and out. The critical question is, are we consciously spiritual? Are we aware of our spiritual nature? Spirituality is used in various senses by different cultures because our spiritual life is more complex and synthetic than analytic. Spirituality is the fusion of the divine and the human into an intimate relationship in a sacred space. One of the indispensable insights offered by the study of spirituality comes from observing the interaction between doctrine, discipline, liturgy and life. Spiritual liturgies are generally exuberant, simple and sacred. That includes music, prayers, sacraments, rituals and various patterns of public and private devotions and lifestyle.
Systemic spirituality is a captivating relation where the interconnectedness of our lives and the larger systems we occupy meets our inner sense of purpose, meaning of life and connection.
People connect spirituality with religion, but that mindset is slowly changing in the twenty-first century. People are spiritual, and spirituality unites them, but religion divides them. Religion is culturally orientated, and spirituality is divinely leaning. Yet every religion and religious person maintains a religious spirituality that has been helping them to live religiously without shifting the balance of the mind too much one way or another. During the crisis, religious and nonreligious people seek spiritual help and some support because spirituality is a person's 'essence' or 'inner realm'. Are you spiritual or religious?
