The first question that comes to my mind is whether I know myself. I think I know myself well, but when I reflect more, I realise that my knowledge about myself is very little. The creator has given me enormous possibilities I haven’t discovered yet. So, in many ways, self-discovery is realising the potential deposited within by the creator. It is about knowing me and learning about life. What keeps me alive? Life is the breath of God. That life I am breathing in and out by grace. Breathing in is life, and breathing out is lifeless. It is a wholesome, sacred and mysterious activity by grace. People were, and are always, wondering about themselves and asking the big questions such as: Who am I? What am I? Where am I? Why am I? When and How am I? If you have found answers to these questions, you have mastered self-knowledge. In other words, you have mastered the art of self-discovery. Many Philosophers, psychologists, religious leaders, yogis, mathematicians, theologians and professors of various disciplines have debated and established theories and doctrines regarding those above-cited questions. The debate continues, like different forms of thesis, antithesis and synthesis; then the synthesis becomes thesis like a never-ending cycle. The important thing is that every synthesis is a new thesis. In that sense, our knowledge about ourselves is progressive and transitory.

Roberto Assagioli (1888 – 1974), the founder of Psychosynthesis, created an egg diagram to describe the multidimensional nature of the human psyche and self. The whole person is multifaceted, an inclusive unit that includes body, mind, soul, spirit, consciousness and the core components of the entire person. According to Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955), everything is energy and vibration. John Locke (1632 – 1704) has seen the self as a product of episodic memory. Self-discovery is a life-long journey. Wellness means being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal. Understanding wellness's significance is knowing how it's essential link to our health. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), health is "a complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." Human wellness is achieved when the core components are in a state of well-being. Below is the structure of the core components of the whole person.

a1) Spirit: inhaling and exhaling is life

       b1) Intuition: transpersonal realm 

               c1) The will: the area of decisions

                       d) The body formed from the clay: the holder

               c2) The self: the area of experience

        b2) The mind: consciousness, the realm of knowledge

Notice the World Health Organisation phrase "a complete physical, mental and social well-being”. Cognitive includes spiritual and emotional wellness. One can be entirely responsible for one's inner wellness, which is paramount. Therefore, one must be trained well to handle one's inner health. It is like a good raincoat, protecting you from the rain when used intelligently. External wellness is essential; however, one cannot completely control it.

Our life is a journey which can be as sweet as honey or as bitter as amarogentin, which is one’s making. The ultimate wellness of our trip is from 

, or consciousness to transpersonal consciousness or spiritual ecstasy, which is perennial. Spiritual ecstasy is the life and well-being of the whole person. Wellness is multidimensional activities of body, mind and spirit. Our physical unwellness can have an impact on our spiritual and mental wellness. Likewise, our spiritual or mental unwellness affects us as a whole person; our wellness and wholeness depend upon how we conduct our lives. For example, our physical well-being largely depends upon what and how we eat and drink. Sometimes, what is called healthy or pranic food is not suitable for our digestive system.
